I was curious to some height and weights to the 2019 recruiting class and even the current roster. I'll be honest that here on Rivals I saw Jacoby Pinckney as 6'3 and same with Jordan Payoute. Other places say 6'1 for both. Which is accurate?
Just one scholarship removal (DJ Crossen) since Signing Day, but some position changes and a bit of shifting in the walk-ons, too. Would not surprise to see a little more attrition before fall camp as some guys evaluate their playing time potential and decide to seek greener pastures.
Given he made it through the Winter still committed, I'd honestly thought there was a pretty good chance he'd remain steadfast. Hokies aren't out of this one, but it would behoove them to perform on the field this Fall if they want to remain in the hunt for top prospects:

The priority here is 2021 DE TJ Bollers just down the road, but Ankeny has 2021 WR Brody Brecht. Holds early offers from Iowa State and William & Mary.
If it's a commitment, that's likely bad news for the Hokies, who will finish runners-up to Kentucky:
