On my way to the bottom to see this video I pass 2 articles on Rutgers needing a coach, 6 articles on whether or not USC got it right making their interm coach the full time guy & countless other head coaching searches.

Which teams we beat out? Per an interview this morning VT was the only team he had discussions with as VT was the only team he was interested in.

Is he staying or definitely gone?

I was listening to an interview with Fuente on XM and the interviewer stated more than once that Bud and Shane were staying at VT. He did this before and after the interview. Fuente spoke at length about Foster but didn't discuss Shane.

Congrats on the hire. The other thing that you should be excited about is Fuente keeping Bud Foster on staff. Foster will keep your defense good while Fuente goes to work on your offense.

I'm not real clear on how it works. Obviously Frank and the current staff will focus on practice and the bowl game. My question is, can Fuente immediately hit the recruiting trail? This would seem like an extremely ideal situation and advantage for the football program to be in, if our current and future coach can work at the same time.

Look at all the 11-1 teams in the top 8 teams this year. I don't care that UNC is in it they deserve to be. I'd love to see an 8 team playoff this year. College football deserves it.

Will he be staying?

Seen something about him maybe coming to tech this winter?? Can anyone give any news on this. Guy was a highly rated qb coming out of high school went to georgia.

I just watched press conference naming new coach. I am more excited than before. Hopefully the days of losing "20-17 games" to inferior teams are over.
